What is the Lash and Carry mobile app? Why would I use it?
The Lash and Carry mobile app is ideal for situations in which you have product that you then resell in a face-to-face transaction, such as tradeshows and social settings. The app facilitates such sales by empowering you to:
Accept payments on the go
The cash payment method is available for any non-card form of payment you choose to accept (cash, check, payment apps, etc.).
The card payment method is available for credit card transactions, which are done through PayPal Here. With a PayPal Here account, you can key in card information for Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® and American Express®. PayPal Here also offers a variety of card readers that can swipe, insert, and tap credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Android Pay, depending upon the functionality of the PayPal Here device you have.
Provide tracking through your Back Office
With the app, you can create a customer record that tracks who you’ve sold to without the customer needing to purchase through your website. The app also gives you a paper trail of each transaction make outside of your website, including visibility in your Back Office order history.
Provide an official receipt to customers
When you use the Lash and Carry app, your customer will receive an email confirmation of the transaction. This email includes a reference number the customer can use when contacting Customer Care, which also helps your customers leverage the Love It Guarantee.
How do I download the app?
The Lash and Carry app is available for iOS in the App Store. Click here to download, or find it by searching “Lash and Carry” in the App Store. The app will be coming soon for Android in the Google Play Store as well.
How do I log into the app?
You can log into the Lash and Carry app with the same login information (Facebook, Instagram or email address) you use to access your Back Office.
What do I do If I have trouble logging into the app?
The Lash and Carry app currently is only available to active Presenters in the U.S. If you are in this group but still can’t log in, please contact Customer Care.
What devices are supported?
The app currently is available for iOS devices only. An Android version is coming soon. The specific device doesn’t matter as long as it is on one of these operating systems.
How do I set up PayPal Here?
PayPal Here is an add-on service to a PayPal business; a standard PayPal account is NOT sufficient. To set up a PayPal Here account, please visit https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mobilemerchant/page/mpa/ob/geturl?onbver=2.0&country.&hs=login.
Once your account is set up, you can link it to the Lash and Carry app within the Lash and Carry settings menu.
How do I use the PayPal card readers with the Lash and Carry app?
PayPal offers a variety of card readers that integrate with PayPal Here and the Lash and Carry app. These options allow you to choose the reader that best meets your needs.
The triangle-shaped mobile card reader, which accepts debit and credit cards, simply needs to be plugged into your device’s headphone jack before you choose credit as the payment method in the Lash and Carry app.
The rectangular-shaped chip card reader accepts debit and credit cards as well as Apple Pay and Android Pay. Be sure to connect the chip card reader to your device via Bluetooth before you choose the payment method. This can be done through your device’s settings menu. Once you’re connected, select card as the payment method in the Lash and Carry app. This will take you to the card payment screen, which will prompt the chip card reader to its “insert, tap, or swipe” screen with the payment amount. The reader must show that prompt before you process the payment.
When do I contact PayPal with problems? When do I contact Younique instead?
Contact PayPal if you have questions about PayPal refunds, credit card transaction fees, credit card reader functionality, and anything else related to processing a card payment.
Contact Younique if you have questions related to receipts, product returns, pricing, app functionality, or anything else related to the Lash and Carry app.
Where do I send suggestions?
Please provide suggestions though “Add Your Voice” in your Back Office. We will be sending surveys to gather feedback during the pilot testing period as well.

What do I do if I can't find a product in the app?

What is the suggested way to use a surcharge functionality?
The surcharge functionality can be used for charges above and beyond the product price, such as taxes or shipping.
Where do I find Lash and Carry transactions on the Younique website?
As a Presenter, you can find your Lash and Carry transactions in your Back Office. Choose Customer Connect, go to Orders, and you will be able to see the Lash and Carry logo within the column displays, noting these transactions. You can also filter for Lash and Carry receipts.
As a customer, you can find your Lash and Carry receipts by logging into your customer account, choosing My Tools, and then visiting My Orders.
How do I attach a customer to an order?
The receipt is created after the Finalize Payment step. Once you click through to the next screen, you can attach that receipt to a customer if so desired. You can search for a customer by either name or email. Customers will show up as options if they have ordered from your website, hosted a party with you, or had a Lash and Carry receipt created previously with you.
You can also create a customer profile for new customers after the Finalize Payment step. The customer’s receipt will provide them with the option of going online to create a full Younique customer account.
How do I use order history in the app?
The order history section of the app will provide you with the date, customer name, and amount of a transaction. If you need additional order details, such as specific line item details or surcharges added, please visit your Back Office.
What if my customer wants to return or exchange a purchase?
Customers can make returns by contacting Customer Care and using their receipt number in the place of a standard order number. Please note that Lash and Carry receipts will not work in the new, automated online return system.
Can an order be cancelled?
Not currently. However, we are considering adding a delete functionality.
Can I attach an order to a party?
No. Because Lash and Carry orders are for resale only, you cannot attach them to parties, as this would cause problems with double-counted party points. However, you can attach the original online order in which the product was first purchased to a party.
Can a Customer Care agent log into Lash and Carry on my behalf?
Customer Care agents cannot log onto an app on your phone. However, Customer Care agents can see Lash and Carry receipts by logging into your Back Office online.
