Are First Level New Advancement Points cumulative?
Yes, these points are cumulative. In other words, if you are the sponsor of a First Level Presenter who advances from Pink to Orange, you (the Sponsor) would receive 2,150 points (500 points for Blue + 750 points for Green + 900 points for Orange = 2,150).
Are Paid-As Status Points cumulative?
No, these points are not cumulative. These are points you earn for being Paid-As a certain status for that given month. For example, at the end of February 2017, if you are Paid-As Purple, you would earn 4,500 points.
If I earn the 2017 Incentive Trip, what is included?
If you earn this trip, you will be invited to spend four nights with Younique Co-Founders Derek and Melanie at the Hard Rock Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Please note that you will be responsible for your own travel and that of your guest to and from Punta Cana. There is no airfare or ground transportation allowance for this trip. Mandatory travel cards will be provided for entry to the country once all registration requirements have been satisfied. A maximum of one resort credit of $750 per room will be included to all qualifiers who attend the trip and is subject to a 20% service charge when redeemed. Alcoholic beverages are not part of the all-inclusive program provided by Younique.
Will there be an alcoholic beverage package available on this trip?
Presenters will have the opportunity in registration to upgrade to an all-inclusive beverage package at their own cost. Alcoholic beverage packages must be purchased when registering for the trip.
If I earn the Incentive Trip, can my guest be another Younique Presenter?
No, your guest cannot be another Younique Presenter.
What are the qualifications to be a guest?
Your guest can be anyone at any age, but they cannot be another Younique Presenter. Additional guests beyond complimentary plus-ones are limited to the resort occupancy guidelines. Each Presenter will be allotted one room only.
Are the point requirements different across the different markets?
No. The required points are the same across all markets.
Can Younique Presenters in all markets earn the Incentive Trips?
Of course! We are a global company, so Active Presenters in all markets are eligible to earn the 2017 Incentive Trip.
How will I be notified if I qualify?
Starting in April, we will notify qualifiers by email each month and ask that you complete registration. You are not fully qualified until the point total and compliance review processes are complete.
When will Younique announce who earned the 2017 Incentive Trip?
We will announce all who earned the Incentive Trip on a monthly basis with the final list being available after July 8, 2017.
Am I guaranteed a spot on the trip if I earn the Incentive Trip?
Even if you meet the qualifications, the trip is on a first-come, first-served basis, so not all Presenters who qualify by the qualification end date will be able to attend. Qualifying for the trip does not guarantee your spot.Registration for the trip within the allotted time is the only way to guarantee your spot. Younique reserves the right to withhold prizes for compliance issues and at the discretion of the company.
If I am unable to attend the trip for any reason, will I be awarded the cash value of the trip?
You will not be awarded cash value of the trip if you are unable to go based on capacity or circumstance. All those who qualify, however, will receive the exclusive Incentive Trip charm.
What if I qualify and register for the Incentive Trip, but I have to cancel; are there any penalties?
The cancellation fee will be $200 after September 15. Cancellations prior to September will not incur a fee. Cancellations due to medical conditions of attendees will not be charged if a doctor’s note is submitted to Customer Support.
Will I still receive the charm even if I am unable to attend the Incentive Trip?
Congratulations for qualifying! We’re sorry you can’t make it. Of course you will receive the charm for earning the Incentive Trip. You will receive your charm around October or November 2017, after the trip has commenced.
Will children be able to attend?
Your automatic, plus-one guest can be anyone at any age, but they cannot be another Younique Presenter. Children will be allowed as additional guests as resort occupancy allows. Additional rooms and upgrades will not be offered to accommodate extra guests. A fee will be charged at registration for all children ages 3-17 ($335). Kids ages 0-2 are free.
If I earn the Incentive Trip, what is the deadline to register?
Registration will begin in April. We urge those who qualify and receive invitations to register as quickly as possible. Qualifying spots are on a first come, first-served basis, and they will not be held for those who do not register. The official registration deadline is July 31, 2017, as space allows. Registered Presenters will be asked to provide proof of travel once registration has closed.
Can I be reimbursed for my plus-one if I cannot bring a guest?
No. There is no reimbursement for your plus-one if you are unable to bring a guest. You shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding another plus-one to come along!
What do I do once I’ve earned the Incentive Trip?
First of all, celebrate! Once you have received your qualification email you must complete registration for you and your guest. You will also need to obtain a passport for travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
How much of my airfare will Younique cover?
There is no airfare allowance for earners of the Incentive Trip.
Will I need a passport? How do I get one?
Yes, you and your guest will need a passport to attend the Incentive Trip. Citizens of all countries will be required to provide information for themselves and any guests. Information on obtaining passports and the fees required can be found at your local post office. Because obtaining a passport does take time, we recommend that you start the application process as soon as possible after qualifying for the Incentive Trip.
The incentive trips are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. The value of any incentive trip may be considered taxable income, and all taxes are the sole responsibility of the Presenter who qualifies and receives the incentive trip. It is the responsibility of the qualifying Presenter to provide airfare, gratuities, pre/post meals and lodging, ground transportation, and any other fees relating to the incentive trip.
