Meet Sue Westerdale

In April 2013, I left a senior manager post at a private hospital, to care for my parents who are both disabled. For 18 months I project managed three extensions and considerable refurbishment of my bungalow, to accommodate my parents needs.

By mid 2015, when the building work was finished and I had recovered from the stress of 10 years in a high powered, stressful job, I was beginning to feel that I needed something to stretch my brain. Also, I was thinking (and worrying) about my financial future, when the inevitable happened. I looked at several "work from home" schemes, but each one I looked into left me with grave doubts or needed a lot of cash upfront. Nothing really ticked all the boxes - that is - until I came across the Younique opportunity.

At the beginning of December 2015, I came across a random post on FaceBook, from my sponsor, Charlotte. She was advertising for people to join her team. I replied and she sent me some links to Youtube videos, which gave me an insight into the Younique company and its products. I liked the fact that they only use natural products in their cosmetics and are animal cruelty free.

Their business model, which seemed to be geared to really empower women by enabling them to set up their own business with little upfront investment, offers a free website, free support and commissions are paid within three hours of your sale!

So I thought "what have I got to lose"? I joined up, ordered my £69 starter kit (Make up worth £135) and read and listened to as many videos and as much information about the products as I could. I did not want to start promoting the products until I had tried them myself. Three days later I received my starter kit and tried the products. Everything was packaged beautifully and the make up is absolutely amazing. I had no hesitation in promoting the Younique products and couldn't wait to get started. My enthusiasm for the products led me to achieve my first level in one week. I am part of a fantastic team, with my Ysisters giving me constant support and I feel so excited to be part of this Younique opportunity.
