Video Hangout Requirements
  1. It is required that you have a Google account.
    If you already have a gmail account (an e-mail account that ends with @gmail.com), then you are a Google member and can continue. If you do not have a gmail account then create one now.
  2. Your YouTube account is required to be validated.
    In order to verify your YouTube account, be signed in to your Google account and go to: https://www.youtube.com/verify.
  3. Ensure that your Live Streaming is enabled.
    Go to your YouTube Dashboard and click Live Streaming in the left column.
  4. We recommend you use the Chrome web browser.
    Chrome is not required, but if you are in IE, Firefox, etc… you may need to install a plug-in in order to continue. Get Chrome Now!
  5. In order to participate in a video party, you must be on a laptop or desktop computer.
    Tablets and phones are not currently supported by this feature.
