About Younique Americas Convention
The annual Younique Convention is an incredible experience, and—according to Younique Presenters who have attended in the past—it’s one of the best things you can do for your business! General Sessions will feature updates from Younique Corporate and The Younique Foundation, new product reveals, keynote speakers, and plenty of surprises! Breakout sessions are taught by Black Status Presenters on a variety of topics to help you find tips and tricks and take your business to the next level.

When and where is Younique Convention?
Younique Americas Convention is August 6–8, 2020, at The Colorado Convention Center, located at 700 14th St., Denver, Colorado, 80202 U.S.
Who is eligible to attend?
All Younique Presenters are eligible to attend Younique Convention. Younique Presenters can also purchase guest passes for friends or family who aren’t Younique Presenters. A guest pass is not required for an infant in arms or a lap-sitting toddler, although ear protection is recommended for all children. Please see the Bringing a Guest to Convention section of our FAQ for more information.
How do I register for Younique Convention?
You can register for Younique Convention by logging into your Back Office and selecting either Europe & APAC Convention or Americas Convention from the My Office tab. Check-in will be available for those who arrive early on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, as well as on Thursday, August 6, 2020, prior to the General Session. These details will be provided under the Schedule of Events section of the Convention website. Agendas are subject to change.
How much does Younique Convention cost?
The full price of Younique Convention 2020 is $319 USD. However, we have two discounted rates if you purchase early:
- Convention rate August 10–14: $219 USD (savings of $100 USD). This price ends August 14, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
- Earlybird rate August 15–December 31: $269 USD (savings of $50 USD). This price ends December 31, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. PST.
What is the Convention ticket transfer policy?
In the event that a registered attendee cannot attend Convention, he or she can transfer that ticket to another person.
Transfers of Convention tickets will be accepted until Friday, February 14, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PST, and can be conducted by contacting Customer Care. After then, all Convention tickets will be non-transferable. Convention tickets are always non-refundable.
What is a ticket bundle?
Younique Presenters can purchase 10 tickets to Younique Convention at a discounted rate.
- Convention rate August 10–14: $1,999 USD for a 10-pack. This price ends August 14, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
- Discount bundle rate August 15, 2019, until Convention 2020: $2,490 USD for a 10-pack.
These discounted rates are offered to build community by encouraging Younique Presenters to attend Younique Convention with their teams.
Who can use tickets from the ticket bundles?
These tickets can be used by Younique Presenters and non-Younique Presenters. This is a perfect way to introduce a prospective Younique Presenter to the Younique Opportunity!
Can I purchase tickets to both Younique Conventions in the same 10-pack bundle?
No. Because of stipulations imposed by each location (e.g., VAT), bundles must be purchased through your registration for the Younique Convention you’re attending, and the codes are redeemable ONLY for that Younique Convention. You cannot buy a bundle for the Americas Convention and use it at the Europe & APAC Convention or vice versa. Codes will be specific to Convention locations and are non-transferable.
I just purchased a 10-pack ticket bundle for Younique Convention. What now? How do I get the registration codes for the tickets that I just purchased?
Once you have purchased a ticket bundle, a Customer Care agent will reach out to you with all the details to get your Younique Convention registration codes. You can then distribute those codes as you choose.
Due to the high volume of bundles that have been purchased, you will receive your codes in 4-5 business days after your purchase.
How can I keep track of the registration codes that are provided to me with the bundle?
Customer Care will provide you with a list of codes that you may share after your purchase. Each code can only be redeemed once. When that code has been used to register an attendee for Convention, it will no longer be active. You can track your codes by contacting Customer Care. They can tell you how many are active/used.
I want to sell the bundled tickets that I just purchased. Can Younique Corporate assist me in this?
No. Once you purchase one or more ticket bundles, it is up to you to sell the tickets, distribute the codes, and collect payment. You are also responsible for ensuring you deliver the codes to the individuals who have purchased them from you, as well as assisting non-Younique Presenters with their Convention registration.
Individual tickets from a ticket bundle purchase are non-refundable through Younique. Selling the tickets from a bundle is the responsibility of the purchaser of the bundle. Once the tickets within the bundle are purchased by an individual, all transactions are between the buyer and seller at the seller's discretion. Younique will not manage transfers or refunds.
Can I transfer a registration code after someone has used it?
Yes. Registration codes fall under the same transfer policy as standard Convention tickets. If a registered attendee cannot attend Convention, he or she can transfer his or her Convention registration code until February 14, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PST by contacting Customer Care. After this time, all registration codes from ticket bundles will be non-transferable. Registration codes, like Convention tickets, are always non-refundable from Younique.
Do I need to assign all of the registration codes before the February 14, 2020, ticket transfer deadline?
No. You have until Younique Convention ends on Saturday, August 8, to assign the registration codes to individual attendees. However, some of your ticket users may want to use their codes to register in order to sign up for breakout classes as soon as we launch the Session Scheduler tool.
I gave out my registration codes from the ticket bundle I purchased. What are next steps for those who have a code? How do they register?
If you gave a registration code to an existing Younique Presenter, have them access the Convention site from their Back Office and select “register now.” They will follow the steps in the registration path and enter their registration code when prompted.
If a registration code is given to someone who is not a Younique Presenter, the Younique Presenter who purchased the code will need to register the individual for an all-access guest pass under that Younique Presenter’s Convention registration.
I bought a bundled pack of Younique Convention tickets, but the people I thought would buy them from me have changed their minds. Can I get my money back?
No, all Younique Convention ticket purchases are non-refundable.
What are the ticket bundle purchase incentives?
You can earn the incentives by purchasing five or more ticket bundles between August 10, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT and June 8, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
- When you purchase five 10-pack bundles (50 tickets total), you’ll receive:
- One hotel room
- VIP lounge access for you and a guest
- When you purchase ten 10-pack bundles (100 tickets total), you’ll receive:
- Two hotel rooms
- VIP lounge access for you and a guest
- 20 VIP seats in all General Sessions
What does Americas Convention mean?
Due to Younique’s growth around the world, we recognize the demand for our annual Convention to reach all Younique Presenters. We’ve decided to create two Conventions to facilitate attendance for all Younique Presenters—one to reach those in the Americas (Canada, the United States, and Mexico), and one to reach those in Europe and APAC (the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Ireland, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand).
Can I still attend the Europe & APAC Convention if I live in the Americas?
Yes! All Younique Presenters are welcome to attend either Convention—or both, if desired. However, the recognition and awards will pertain to the markets specifically covered by each Convention, not by individual attendance. Please see the Recognition Information section of this FAQ for more details.
How are the two Conventions different?
The two Conventions will feature different announcements and product reveals. However, both Conventions will provide the same caliber of training, recognition, entertainment, and excitement. Both events will feature Younique Founder and CEO Derek Maxfield and Co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer Melanie Huscroft.
When should I arrive?
Convention registration and the Younique Boutique will open on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, in the afternoon. Check-in and registration will also be available on the morning of Thursday, August 6, 2020. Convention ends on the evening of Saturday, August 8, 2020.
What time is onsite check-in and registration?
On-site registration and check-in will open to all Younique Presenters on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, in the afternoon for optional early arrival. Check-in is also open Thursday, August 6, 2020. These details will be provided under the Schedule of Events section of the Convention webpage. Agendas are subject to change.
When is the Younique Boutique open?
The Younique Boutique will open Wednesday August 5, 2020, and will be open intermittently throughout Convention. The store will feature Younique-branded items available for purchase to promote your business. Complete store hours can be found under the Schedule of Events section of the Convention webpage. Agendas are subject to change.
How do I sign up for breakout classes?
You sign up for breakout classes and manage your schedule using the Session Scheduler tool. The class schedule will be announced prior to when the Session Scheduler tool goes live. We’ll email those who are registered for Convention when both the schedule and the tool are available, so watch for the email, or keep an eye out for announcements in the Y.O.U. When the Session Scheduler tool goes live, you’ll be able to reserve your place in the breakout classes you wish to attend. Space is limited in breakout sessions; your Convention badge will be scanned at the door to verify your registration for each breakout session.
What if the classes I want to attend are all full?
We recommend you fill your schedule with classes, even if your first choices are already full. All breakouts have been planned to provide beneficial training and information to Younique Presenters.
Will there be interpretation services available for non-English speaking Younique Presenters?
Interpretation services will be provided in French and Spanish at the Americas Convention to those Younique Presenters who request this service during the registration process. You may log in to the registration site at any time prior to June 30 and change your language preferences.
What is the dress code for Convention?
Dress is casual Thursday, Friday, and during the day Saturday. A formal closing session will be held Saturday evening; although formal dress is suggested, it is optional.
Bringing a Guest to Convention
Younique Presenters are welcome to bring guests who are not Younique Presenters to Convention. If you are interested in adding guest passes to your order, please understand the terms and conditions of doing so. Guest passes can only be purchased by Younique Presenters who are registered for Convention and only for the Convention for which they are registered. There is no limit to the number of guest passes a Younique Presenter can purchase. Three types of guest passes are available with differing access and price levels.
What do guest passes include? How much do they cost?
- All Access ($319 USD): This pass allows your guest to attend the opening party, all General Sessions, and all breakout sessions. This pass also allows your guest to receive the same product and registration giveaways as Younique Presenters.
- All General Sessions ($219 USD): This pass allows your guest to attend the opening party and all General Sessions.
- Closing Session ($69 USD): This pass allows your guest to attend the closing General Session.
How do I purchase a guest pass?
Guest passes can only be purchased through the Convention registration page by Younique Presenters who are already registered for Convention. They will be able to purchase guest passes for the Convention they are attending.
After your registration is completed, you will be able to log into the Convention registration page to add guest passes. Be sure you have your guest’s email address on hand when registering him or her.
What are the payment options for guest passes?
All tickets must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
I’m getting an error when purchasing a guest pass. What can I do?
You may be entering your email address into the “guest email address” field. The registration system will read it as a duplicate registration and not accept the guest information. Please enter your guest’s email address. This will help the system accept the registration.
What do I need to know about the breakout sessions during Convention?
All of the breakout classes will be taught by Younique Presenters and members of the Corporate Family. We have formatted the sessions to provide you with beneficial information, no matter where you are in your Younique journey. The full schedule of classes and instructors will be shared soon.
How do I register for breakout classes?
You will be able to log in to the registration site using your confirmation number to gain access to the Session Scheduler tool when it is available. This tool is the only way to sign up for desired classes online and manage your breakout schedule. Younique Presenters registered for Convention will be notified via email when the Session Scheduler tool is available.
What do I do if I lost/forgot my confirmation number and/or email?
Younique Customer Care is available 24/7 to help you with your registration. Simply contact Customer Care—our Facebook Messenger, email, chat, Twitter, and phone options are listed on our website. You can also return to the registration site and request to have your confirmation number emailed to you.
What meals are provided?
All meals are on your own. Food vendors will be available inside the Convention Center for your convenience.
Convention Hotel Information
Younique has secured discounts at some of the nearby hotels to help you make the most of your experience in Denver. The discounted hotel rooms are available until they are sold out and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend Younique Presenters book their hotel as early as possible for the best chance of securing a room at the discounted rate. Booking in one of the official hotels gives you access to Orchid Event Solutions, the official housing provider for Younique Convention, for updates, cancellations, and assistance with hotel reservations. You’ll also have more opportunities for networking with your Y-Sisters throughout Convention by staying in our official housing block.
How do I book a room for Convention in Younique’s housing block?
The official housing website for the Younique Americas Convention in Denver, Colorado, U.S., will be launching soon. Those interested in getting priority booking, please sign up using this form. You will be the first to get access to book rooms in Denver!
What is the hotel cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within 72 hours of your confirmed arrival date will be subject to a penalty fee that will be charged by the hotel. Please check with your confirmed hotel for the applicable penalty fee amount. If you fail to arrive on your confirmed date, you will be charged the penalty fee, and the reservation for your entire stay will be canceled. Some hotels charge a penalty for checking out earlier than scheduled. To avoid this, please verify your departure date upon checking into the hotel.
Why do I have to enter my credit card information when booking?
A credit card is used to guarantee your reservation. The hotel will charge this card if you incur any cancellation fees. Please see the hotel cancellation policy above for details.
Is there a limit to the number of hotel rooms I can book?
The system is set up to reserve one room at a time. However, there is no limit to the number of rooms you can book. Please note, however, that you will be liable for any applicable cancellation fees on rooms you book but do not use.
How early do I need to book my hotel to get a discounted room?
The discounted rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend Younique Presenters book their hotel as early as possible for the best chance of getting a room on the discounted block. Discounted rooms cannot be guaranteed after August 2, 2020, based on availability. The blocks may sell out before this date.
What if my preferred hotel shows as sold out on the housing link?
Some of the hotels may sell out quickly. However, the hotel may also show as sold out if you are trying to extend your stay beyond the Convention dates. The majority of the hotel rooms are reserved for Younique only for August 5–8, 2020. If you try booking extra days before or after Convention, the system may say the rooms are sold out because the hotel is booked for those extra dates. If you only select Convention dates, and the main dates are not sold out, it should show as available.
Who do I contact for help with Convention hotel reservations?

Orchid Event Solutions is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. MT, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Please note that Orchid Event Solutions does not accept cancellations over the phone. You can submit your cancellation request by fax at 801-355-0250 or by email at email@example.com.
Remember, room changes can be made through Orchid Event Solutions until August 2, 2020. After August 2, 2020, you will need to contact your hotel directly to make changes.
Will there be Recognition parades this year?
Yes! If you are Green Status or above, you can participate in the parade that correlates to your highest Recognized Status as of June 30, 2020.
I recently promoted to a new status. How will I be recognized?
You will be recognized for your highest Recognized Status as of June 30, 2020.
Will I be recognized for a new status if I promoted in July?
No, you will not be recognized for a July status promotion with the 2020 Younique Convention. However, if you would like to walk in the parade for your highest Recognized Status as of June 30, 2020, you are welcome to do so as long as you are Green Status or above.
If I didn’t walk last year, can I walk this year?
Yes, as long as you are Green Status or above. We will allow all Younique Presenters to walk based on their highest Recognized Status as of June 30, 2020.
I promoted to a new status multiple times between July 2019 to June 2020. Will I be recognized for all of these advancements?
You will only be recognized at your highest Recognized Status as of June 30, 2020, as long as you are Green Status or above.
How do I know when I will be recognized?
You will receive an email informing you that you are qualified to participate in a parade or if you are a finalist for an award. All Younique Presenters will be recognized at the Convention corresponding to the market in which they reside.
At which Convention will I be recognized?
You will only be recognized at your local Convention. Younique Presenters residing in Canada, the United States, and Mexico will be recognized at the Americas Convention. Younique Presenters residing in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Ireland, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand will be recognized at the Europe & APAC Convention.
If I attend a Convention that is not for the market where I reside, will I be recognized at that Convention?
No, you will only receive onstage recognition within your corresponding Convention. All Younique Presenters are welcome to attend either Convention, however.
What Recognition awards will be given during Convention?
We will have Recognition parades for all Younique Presenters who are Green Status or above. Additionally, there will be individual awards for Younique Presenters* in the following categories:
- Top Seller—Personal Retail Sales: The 10 Younique Presenters with the highest Personal Retail Sales between July 1, 2019, at 12:01 a.m. PDT, and June 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
- Top Seller—Qualified Customer Virtual Parties: The 10 Younique Presenters with the highest number of qualified customer-hosted YOUNIQUE virtual parties that started and ended between July 1, 2019, at 12:01 a.m. PDT, and June 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
- Top Sponsor: The 10 Younique Presenters with the most recruits who also reached a lifetime PRS of at least 125 between July 1, 2019, at 12:01 a.m. PDT, and June 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
- Top Elite Builder: The 10 Younique Presenters with the most first generation Elite (and higher) promotions between July 1, 2019, at 12:01 a.m. PDT, and June 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
For example, if you have a first Generation Elite who:
- Advances to Green Status, you earn one point
- Advances from Green to Orange Status, you earn one point
- Advances from Orange to Purple Status, you earn one point
- Advances from Purple to Black Status, you earn one point
- And so on
Who can qualify for Convention Recognition awards?
All those residing in the following regions can qualify for the Recognition awards at the Americas Convention: Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
If you would like to be recognized onstage at Convention, you must be registered by June 30, 2020, to qualify for any Convention Recognition awards. Additional contest rules may apply.
Do I need to be present to qualify for Convention Recognition awards?
No, you will be recognized regardless of whether you are in attendance or not.
Do I need to be present to receive the Recognition awards?
No, you do not need to be in attendance to receive the recognition awards. If you are unable to attend Convention, your award will be sent out after the event.
Personal Accommodations and Concerns
Lighting: Please be aware that many meetings at Convention will feature bright lights, including strobe lights and other lighting effects. If you are susceptible to bright or strobe lights, please use your discretion and take proper precautions.
Food: While there will be onsite vendors offering a wide variety of food options, we cannot guarantee the options available will accommodate every need. If you are concerned about any food option available, please arrange for your particular needs prior to attending.
Stage: Any Younique Presenter who will be on stage, including for parade participation, should make themselves aware of proper exit routes, parade paths, and stairs. Younique will do its best to direct participants, but it is each Younique Presenter’s responsibility to take proper precaution while on stage. Any Younique Presenter who is not comfortable doing this or who is not in a sufficient physical condition to do this should inform Younique as quickly as possible so that alternate arrangements, if any, can be made.
